Get the Most Out of Your Research

After years of research, you probably have a trove of paper and digital files. But with all that material, it can be hard to find the right information—or remember what you’ve already learned about your family history. Maybe you’ve even printed out documents to support a conclusion, but then forgotten about both the paper and what you hoped it would prove!

Through this Master Class, you’ll learn how to cut through all of that clutter by streamlining your research and organizing your files. By the end, you'll be able to clearly document your progress and create a research plan for the coming year.

In this six-week Master Class, you’ll learn how to:

  • Sort and declutter your files, both physical and digital
  • Create a practical, filing system that’s perfect for YOUR research
  • Digitize records, photos, and more
  • Get the most out of your genealogy software
  • Analyze your findings to forge a new research plan
  • Stay organized in your future research
  • and much more!

What the Master Class Includes

  • Hours of exclusive video instruction, broken up into seven, go-at-your-own-pace lessons
  • 7 live Q&A sessions with expert instructors
  • Worksheets and exercises that will help you put what you’ve learned into practice
  • Discussion board where you can network with fellow researchers, ask questions of instructors, and learn from other students
  • Bonus downloads that will help you achieve your organization goals

How will I benefit from the Master Class?

Save Money: You will learn how to organize and maintain your family records, both paper and digital. Bringing this process home will save you from paying for a subscription service to access your records.

Record Protection: Is your family tree stored on one website? You can learn how to migrate your records to your desktop and avoid the risk of a third-party site losing them to a data breach, company bankruptcy, or a change in terms of service.

Unlock More Research Flexibility: Don’t limit your research to one website because it can stifle your research potential. Learn how to take your paper research to the next level by saving and digitizing the right records to build your genealogy collection.

Make 2026 Your Best Research Year: Learn how to better analyze records you have and use what you discover to forge a path for your genealogy research journey.
