The landscape of Irish research has changed drastically over the past few years with the digitization of the Roman Catholic Church records by the National Library followed the release of the images of birth, deaths and marriage (with restrictions) by IrishGenealogy.ie. A project is also underway to digitize and index all surviving Church of Ireland records. It truly is a new world for Irish researchers!

About the instructor:

Donna Moughty has been conducting family research for over 25 years. She teaches and lectures on the Internet, Irish research, methodology and computer topics locally and at national and regional conferences and institutes.
